Celebrate the festive season in Middlesbrough and join us for the 2016 Christmas Light Switch On brought to you by Middlesbrough Council, in association with The Cleveland Centre and hosted by our very own Tom Campbell.

Tom will be live in Middlesbrough Centre Square on 27th November to switch on the Middlesbrough's Magical Christmas Lights.

The evening kicks off from 4pm with the Wildcats of Kilkenny joining Tom on stage to celebrate the start of the Christmas Celebrations.

Magical Middlesbrough brings you a festive programme of events for all the family to enjoy including traditional Christmas Markets, the stunning Reindeer Parade, the Big Sing and enchanting Winter Lantern Garden, Magical Movies and many more events not to be missed!

As if all that isn't enough, the brand new magical Santa's Grotto complete with bubbling chimney and a few more surprises will be in Centre Square so make sure you bring your little elves to visit Santa for a magical experience your family will cherish.
