On the last day of their tour on March 26, Middleton wore an optimistic outfit hours after Prince William spoke on the future of the Caribbean islands.

To close out the couple's eight-day Caribbean tour, they departed Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, Bahamas.

Middleton kept up with her pastel Bahamas looks, wearing a yellow, belted floral-print midi dress. The dress cinched at her waist with an embellished belt and peplum frill. The '80s-inspired dress had slight shoulder padding and a bow — a look that easily could've been seen on Princess Diana. She paired this with Patrick Mavros earrings, a white clutch bag, and Gianvito Rossi court shoes. 

Hours before their departure, William released a statement about the future governance of the Caribbean nations amid the backlash they received on tour.

"In Belize, Jamaica, and The Bahamas, that future is for the people to decide upon," Prince William said, as per People. "What matters to us is the potential the Commonwealth family has to create a better future for the people who form it, and our commitment to serve and support as best we can."
