Body Found In Tilbury

Investigations have started after a man’s body was found on a road near Tilbury Docks.

A driver spotted the body in the early hours on Thursday 4th August.

As a result police closed the A1089 Dock Approach Road at Tilbury between the A13 and the junction with the A126.

The body is believed to be a man in his 20's.

Police have preserved the scene while they try to establish the cause of death.
